Soft ear pad sets magnetically attach to any Diana or JOAL headphone. These are the latest version, acoustically sculpted and pillow top soft with new construction and the finest materials, now assembled in-house in our US facility.
🔹 Lambskin pads provide maximum resolution in the highs and maximizes sub bass below 20 Hz.
🔹Vegan pads made with Ultrasuede® are pillow top soft. This material has a slight softening affect on the sound compared to lambskin. If your system comes across as harsh from time to time these pads can help tame that. Also gives a slight bass bump in to 30-60 Hz range. Available in black or tan.
🔹NEW! Hybrid pads with soft Ultrasuede material against your face and lambskin in and out which maintains high resolution and high frequency response while adding comfort, particularly for eyeglass wearers.
Bass Porting adds a whole new dimension to the sound of your Diana or JOAL headphone. Engineered to trade-off deep sub bass below 20 Hz for a bass bump in the 30-50 Hz range and a bit more soundstage depth and openness.
Bass Ported Vegan pads maximize contrast compared to all leather non-bass-ported stock pads. It's like having 2 headphones in one with the simple change of these magnetic pads.
Universal Compatibility & Break-In Period:
These ear pads are compatible with all versions of Diana and JOAL headphones, providing an instant upgrade in both comfort and sound. When new they will gradually break in and compress to conform to your head shape over time. If you purchased a used headphone with older style ear pads [fitted to another's head] we highly recommend to replace the ear pads with new for proper fitment to your head shape.
